What is EonSwap?
EonSwap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) on Base that lets you swap tokens, provide liquidity, and farm rewards without giving up custody of your assets.
Is EonSwap custodial?
No. EonSwap is fully non-custodial. Your funds remain in your wallet at all times. We never have access to your private keys or tokens.
What network does EonSwap support?
EonSwap is currently deployed on Base Mainnet (Chain ID: 8453).
What wallets are supported?
Any EVM-compatible wallet including MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, and WalletConnect-compatible wallets.
Trading
What are the swap fees?
0.3% per swap, which goes entirely to liquidity providers.
What is slippage?
Slippage is the difference between expected and actual price. You can set your slippage tolerance in swap settings. Default is 0.5%.
What is price impact?
Price impact shows how much your trade will move the market price. Large trades on low-liquidity pairs have higher price impact.
Why did my transaction fail?
Common reasons:
- Insufficient gas (ETH on Base)
- Slippage exceeded (price moved too much)
- Token approval not completed
- Network congestion
Liquidity
How do I earn from providing liquidity?
When you add liquidity, you receive LP tokens. You earn 0.3% of all trades in that pair, proportional to your share of the pool.
What is impermanent loss?
When token prices in a pair diverge significantly, you may end up with less value than if you had just held the tokens. This is called impermanent loss.
Can I withdraw my liquidity anytime?
Yes. You can remove liquidity at any time by burning your LP tokens.
Farming
What rewards can I earn?
You can earn ESTF (governance token) and ESR (bonus reward token) by staking LP tokens in eligible pools.
How often can I claim rewards?
You can claim rewards at any time. There's no lock-up period.
What is the emission rate?
Approximately 3.17 ESTF per second, distributed across all farming pools.

ESR (EONSWAP REWARD) is a bonus reward token distributed in certain farming pools.

Airdrop
How do I check airdrop eligibility?
Go to the Airdrop page and connect your wallet. If a campaign is active on the current deployment, eligible wallets will see a claimable amount there.
When are airdrops distributed?
Airdrops are distributed in campaigns. The claim interface can be visible before a production campaign is activated, so use the page status plus our Twitter announcements as the source of truth.
